How much does a Turkmenistan visa cost?
Pricing has three parts: a $30 service fee, a processing-speed fee you choose, and a government fee that depends on your nationality. You will see your total before you pay.
Is the service fee refundable?
The $30 service fee is non-refundable, because work begins as soon as you submit. Other fees follow the terms shown at checkout.
How long does processing take?
Processing time depends on the speed tier you select and on government handling; faster tiers are available for urgent trips. We will show the options when you apply.
Do I still need a letter of invitation (LOI)?
Not for a tourist e-visa. For the tourist e-visa (e-TU), the portal asks for a passport scan and a photo, and lists a travel itinerary or hotel booking and medical insurance as optional. The business e-visa (e-BS) needs an invitation letter from a company or organisation registered in Turkmenistan that states your position. The humanitarian e-visa (e-HM) needs an official letter from a humanitarian organisation or UN agency. Emin Travel does not issue invitation letters. Yes. Anyone can apply directly on the State Migration Service e-visa portal, evisa.migration.gov.tm. Since 1 October 2026, Turkmenistan issues e-visas online. Which types of e-visa are there?
There are three types of e-visa: tourist (e-TU), business (e-BS, up to 30 days) and humanitarian (e-HM). The portal lists no transit e-visa.
